Kamal Nath Thakur, a senior professional associated with NTPC Limited, has been nominated as a member of the Internal Auditing and Assurance Standards Board (IAASB) of the Institute of Cost Accountants of India (ICMAI).
Thakur is currently associated with NTPC’s Corporate Internal Audit Department. He brings more than three decades of professional experience in internal audit, project financing, treasury, corporate governance and internal controls.

As a member of the IAASB, Kamal Nath Thakur will contribute to the board’s work on internal auditing and assurance practices.
