India, France hold 17th counter-terrorism dialogue in Paris, condemn Pahalgam attack

India and France held their 17th counter-terrorism meeting in Paris, reaffirming their commitment to combating terrorism and condemning the recent attack in Pahalgam.

The two nations discussed shared concerns regarding evolving security threats, including State-sponsored cross-border terrorism, radicalisation, and the misuse of emerging technologies by terror groups. Both sides agreed to enhance cooperation at international forums such as the UN, FATF, and the No Money for Terror initiative, and explore expanding their dialogue to include organised crime and cybersecurity.

The next meeting is scheduled to take place in India.
