The continuous demand for funding urban development led to a 28.76% year-on-year increase in loan sanctioning to ₹1.65 lakh crore in FY2025-26, which was a great performance for the state-run Housing and Urban Development Corporation Ltd. (HUDCO).
Consistent project execution and better capital deployment led to a 27.87% increase in disbursements to ₹51,194 crore.
With a continued emphasis on funding sustainable and equitable urban development, CMD Sanjay Kulshrestha attributed the success to aggressive market tracking and internal improvements.
To further engage urban local bodies and speed up the flow of funding into city infrastructure projects, HUDCO is also expanding its recently established Urban Investment Window (UiWIN).
The business’s expansion plans are in line with Viksit Bharat 2047, the government’s plan for infrastructure-led development
