Hindustan Copper Limited (HCL) has appointed Abhimanue Singh as Executive Director and Unit Head of its Malanjkhand Copper Project (MCP), effective October 11, 2026. Singh was previously serving as Executive Director and Unit Head of the company’s Taloja Copper Project and Gujarat Copper Project.
According to HCL’s regulatory filing with the stock exchanges, Singh took charge at the Malanjkhand Copper Project following his transfer from the Taloja Copper Project. The transfer was communicated through corporate office orders dated September 25 and October 6, 2026. He was subsequently relieved from the Taloja project on October 9, 2026.
Abhimanue Singh Brings Experience in Copper Operations
A mechanical engineering graduate, Singh joined Hindustan Copper as a Graduate Engineer Trainee in 1991. He has experience in mechanical maintenance, plant operations, and the erection and commissioning of turnkey projects.
Singh was entrusted with the responsibility of heading the Gujarat Copper Project in 2020 and took over as Unit Head of the Taloja Copper Project in 2022. He oversaw both units, including their Continuous Cast Rod (CCR) production processes.
HCL is a public sector enterprise under the Ministry of Mines. The company operates copper mining and processing facilities in India.
