Gurdeep Singh Engages with NEEPCO Executive Trainees at NTPC’s PMI

While attending PMI for his executive trainee program, Gurdeep Singh, chief management director of NTPC Limited and NEEPCO, recently met with incoming trainees.

As the Chief Medical Director’s (CMD) first meeting with the Executive Trainees, the session was historic and inspirational for the young people just starting out in the power industry in India. Leadership, career advancement, and the changing face of the energy and power sector were some of the topics covered by Gurdeep Singh throughout the session. As they are ready to assume important responsibilities in the field, the trainees found great motivation in his advice. The meeting was attended by important executives from both NTPC and NEEPCO. The significance of leadership involvement and mentoring in developing future power industry workers was highlighted by their attendance. The orientation program is a reflection of the ongoing commitment to leadership development and talent development by NTPC and NEEPCO. The organisations’ goal is to enhance capacities and promote innovation in the dynamic energy sector by facilitating connections between young professionals and senior leadership at an early stage of their careers.
