GAIL has received the nomination of Shri Rajeev Kumar, Deputy Director General in the Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas, as Government Nominee Director on its Board.
GAIL (India) Limited has received the nomination of Shri Rajeev Kumar as Government Nominee Director on its Board.
The Ministry of Petroleum & Natural Gas (MoP&NG), through a letter dated September 29, 2026, nominated Shri Rajeev Kumar for the position. Kumar is currently serving as Deputy Director General in the Ministry.
GAIL Board Nomination
The nomination will be for three years, on a co-terminus basis, or until further orders, whichever is earlier.
The nomination adds a government representative to the Board of GAIL, India’s leading natural gas company.
GAIL to Complete Appointment Formalities
GAIL is currently completing the formal appointment process.
The company said it will submit detailed disclosures to the stock exchanges after completing the required formalities.
The company has shared the information in accordance with the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements) Regulations, 2015.
