Delhi Blast: NIA Forms 10-Member Special Investigation Team to Lead Probe

The National Investigation Agency (NIA) has established a special team of 10 officers to investigate the recent blast near Delhi’s Red Fort Metro Station, which occurred on November 10, resulting in at least eight fatalities and numerous injuries.

Led by NIA ADG Vijay Sakhare, the team includes senior officers and was formed after the Home Ministry transferred the investigation to the NIA.

Union Home Minister Amit Shah has emphasized the urgency of uncovering the conspiracy, instructing the team to examine over 1,000 CCTV clips and analyze mobile phone data from the area to locate potential communication links to the attack.

Enhanced security measures have been implemented in Delhi and surrounding regions in response to the incident.
