Bank of Baroda Extends ₹2 Crore Support for Armed Forces Families’ Education

Bank of Baroda has supported the education of children from families serving in the armed services by contributing ₹2,00,16,000 to the Armed services Flag Day Fund (AFFDF) as part of its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiative. By funding this program, Bank of Baroda is demonstrating its commitment to paying tribute to the brave men and women who have served our nation in the military by providing educational opportunities and better living conditions for their children. For 834 children of fallen soldiers, martyrs, and widows, this donation will mean educational scholarships. The Ministry of Defence’s Kendriya Sainik Board oversees the fund. Bank of Baroda Executive Director Beena Vaheed presented Secretary D. S. Basera of the Kendriya Sainik Board with the check. General Manager and Zonal Head of the New Delhi Zone, M. V. S. Sudhakar, was present at the ceremony.
