Air India announces special Delhi–Kathmandu flights to help stranded passengers

Air India is operating special Delhi-Kathmandu flights on Wednesday and Thursday to assist stranded passengers, with scheduled operations also resuming tomorrow.

Passengers are advised to check flight status on the Air India website or contact their call center for assistance. The airline had previously canceled flights to Kathmandu on Wednesday due to airport closure.

Both Air India and IndiGo initially canceled flights on Tuesday due to escalating unrest in Nepal, which led to airport closures and a heightened focus on passenger and crew safety.
