Adani Total Gas Ltd (ATGL) reported a 34% year-on-year increase in revenue from operations to ₹2,102 crore for the quarter ended September 30, 2026, compared with ₹1,569 crore in the corresponding quarter last year. Net profit rose 3% to ₹167 crore, while earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) increased 12% to ₹340 crore. For the first half of FY2026-27, EBITDA rose 3% to ₹621 crore.
ATGL CEO Sanjay Pandita said the company recorded 12% growth in overall gas volumes during the quarter. Sustained demand for compressed natural gas (CNG) and deeper penetration of piped natural gas (PNG) supported this growth. CNG volumes increased 17% year-on-year, while PNG volumes grew 3%. The company reported that approximately 11.81 lakh homes were connected to its PNG network.
ATGL reported this performance amid a challenging operating environment. The company cited the continuing West Asia crisis, elevated Brent crude and spot gas prices, currency depreciation and reduced allocation of domestic APM gas as key challenges.
Expansion of EV Charging and Biomass Businesses
The company also reported progress across its newer businesses. Adani TotalEnergies E-Mobility Ltd expanded its network to 5,513 installed EV charge points across 26 states and Union Territories and 225 cities. The network had an installed capacity of approximately 63 MW, with 4,809 charge points operational.
Adani TotalEnergies Biomass Ltd sold 460 metric tonnes of compressed biogas (CBG) during H1 FY2026-27, including 195 tonnes through dedicated CBG stations. Organic manure sales exceeded 6,865 tonnes, of which 1,757 tonnes were sold under the Harit Amrit brand.
Sustainability Performance
ATGL reported that its NSE Sustainability score increased to 75. Its Stakeholders Empowerment Services (SES) score also improved to 75 out of 100.
The company reported consolidated profit after tax of ₹173 crore for Q2 FY2026-27 and ₹315 crore for the first half. These consolidated figures differ from the ₹167-crore quarterly net profit reported in the headline results. The reporting basis should be verified against the company’s financial filing.
ATGL’s Q2 performance reflected revenue and volume growth, supported by CNG demand and expanding PNG connections. The company also continued to expand its EV charging infrastructure and develop its compressed biogas and organic manure businesses. Its performance came amid challenging gas procurement and market conditions.
