Adani Green Energy Records Strong Financial Growth

The company’s cash profit grew 35% year-on-year to ₹4,176 crore during the first half. Meanwhile, capital expenditure increased 38% to ₹17,160 crore, reflecting continued investment in renewable energy projects and infrastructure.

AGEL reported a net debt-to-run-rate EBITDA ratio of 5.6 times. It attributed its financial performance to capacity expansion, advanced renewable energy technologies and improved operations across its portfolio.

Revenue from power supply recorded an EBITDA margin of 92.9% during the period, according to the company’s stock exchange filing.

Battery Storage Capacity Expands at Khavda

Chief Executive Officer Ashish Khanna said strong execution across the company’s renewable energy assets supported growth in energy generation and financial performance.

He also highlighted the expansion of operational battery energy storage system (BESS) capacity at Khavda to 6.63 GWh. According to AGEL, this makes it India’s largest BESS operator, accounting for more than half of the country’s operational battery storage capacity.

Khanna added that the company would continue expanding its storage capacity while monitoring the availability of transmission infrastructure.

Adani Green Energy Reports Strong Q2 Performance

In the second quarter of FY27, energy sales increased 33% year-on-year to 12,090 million units. Revenue from power supply rose 45% to ₹4,019 crore, while EBITDA from power supply grew 51% to ₹3,835 crore.

Renewable Energy Expansion Remains a Priority

Adani Green Energy’s first-half FY27 results reflect growth in energy sales, power supply revenue and operating earnings. The company continues to invest in renewable generation capacity and battery energy storage to support its expansion plans.

However, its net debt-to-run-rate EBITDA ratio of 5.6 times and the availability of transmission infrastructure remain important factors as it develops new projects and scales up operations.
