At the World Economic Forum (WEF) in Davos, where foreign businesses expressed a strong interest in doing business with India, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw of India stressed the importance of boosting worldwide trust in the nation.
Global leaders are paying attention to India’s development path and emphasis on infrastructure that is fit for the future. Vaishnaw mentioned agreements with Honeywell for factory development and railway modernisation, as well as active work with logistics behemoth Maersk to improve India’s logistics infrastructure.
He reaffirmed Singapore’s long-term commitment to India’s economic development by mentioning Temasek’s willingness in making additional investments in the country’s deep-tech businesses and infrastructure.
The talks also emphasised India’s growing involvement in robotics, cybersecurity, and artificial intelligence. They attributed this to the country’s highly qualified labour force, strong digital infrastructure, and stable policies, which further solidified India’s reputation as a reliable partner in international value chains.
