According to Union Minister Nitin Gadkari, NHAI has set four Guinness World Records in the building of the Bengaluru–Kadapa–Vijayawada Economic Corridor, demonstrating India’s engineering prowess.

The longest continuous bituminous concrete laying, which covered 28.89 lane kilometres in a 24-hour period, and the total amount of material laid in the same period, totalling 10,655 metric tonnes, are among the records set by advanced technology and quality standards.

More records were achieved for continuous paving of 156 lane kilometres, exceeding the prior benchmark. This 343-kilometer corridor, which includes a tunnel, interchanges, and amenities, is intended for safe, fast travel.
