At the World Economic Forum, Union Minister Ashwini Vaishnaw declared that, in large part because of its developments in the semiconductor and artificial intelligence ecosystems, the international sector is beginning to see Bharat as a trustworthy supply-chain partner.
He underlined how Bharat’s entire semiconductor ecosystem—which includes design, production, packaging, and materials—helps lessen reliance on imports and promotes international cooperation.
Vaishnaw also emphasised the international trust shown by businesses like Google, which is partnering with Indian entrepreneurs and investing $15 billion in an AI data centre in Visakhapatnam. This illustrates India’s increasing importance as a centre for high-tech industrial innovation and technology.
