India played a pivotal role at the World Telecommunication Development Conference 2025 (WTDC-25) held in Baku, Azerbaijan, chaired by Dr. Pemmasani Chandra Sekhar.
The event saw the participation of 2,300 delegates, including ministers and heads of agencies. India secured leadership positions, delivered a high-level policy statement prioritizing universal connectivity and digital transformation, and led the adoption of 19 resolutions.
