OIL Completes Mechanical Works on Numaligarh–Siliguri Product Pipeline (NSPL)

Oil India Limited (OIL) has completed the Mechanical Completion of the Upgradation of Facilities of the Numaligarh–Siliguri Product Pipeline (NSPL) project, enhancing the pipeline’s transportation capacity from 1.72 MMTPA to 5.5 MMTPA.

This achievement strengthens OIL’s midstream infrastructure to handle increased product flows from the Numaligarh Refinery. The project spans across Assam and West Bengal, encompassing five pump stations and one receipt terminal.

This achievement demonstrates OIL’s commitment to enhancing energy infrastructure in the Northeastern region.
