HCLTech has introduced a portfolio of 20 purpose-built Industry AI Solutions (IAIS) aimed at bringing artificial intelligence into the core of industry-specific value chains. The solutions combine domain expertise with advanced AI capabilities to address high-value business use cases across multiple sectors.
The portfolio covers banking, healthcare and life sciences, aerospace, retail, telecommunications, mobility, energy and manufacturing. Several solutions are already deployed at scale with global clients, while others are currently in early-stage implementations.
The entire portfolio has been developed in-house by a dedicated global team of engineers and domain experts, bringing together industry knowledge and AI capabilities to address specific business requirements.
HCLTech Targets Industry-Specific AI Use Cases
Among the solutions is VisionX, a computer-vision AI platform designed for manufacturing and logistics environments. The solution has helped improve response times by more than 90% and reduce operational costs by 70% across factory and warehouse environments.
SmartTwin enables manufacturers to simulate products and plants before physical deployment. The solution can help companies achieve up to 44% faster time-to-market by supporting virtual testing and planning before physical implementation.
In life sciences, the Intelligent Safety Platform has reduced pharmacovigilance case-processing time by 40–50%. The portfolio also includes Autonomous Accounts Payable, which has reduced invoice processing cycle time by 60% at a major global manufacturer.
HCLTech Focuses on Scalable AI Adoption
Dr. Gaurav Dhakar, Global Head – Industry AI Solutions at HCLTech, said artificial intelligence has the potential to transform the core of business value chains. He noted that realising this potential requires deep industry-specific expertise as well as the ability to scale AI solutions across business environments.
According to Dhakar, the Industry AI Solutions are designed to bridge this gap by translating domain expertise into scalable AI capabilities and applying them to specific business processes.
HCLTech Plans Further Industry AI Expansion
HCLTech plans to continue expanding its Industry AI portfolio as enterprises move from AI experimentation towards broader and more structured adoption. The company will focus on solutions designed to deliver measurable outcomes across productivity, operational efficiency, innovation and business growth.
The portfolio reflects HCLTech’s focus on moving AI beyond experimentation and into industry-specific applications where businesses can measure its impact across critical value chains.
