IGL, BSNL Sign MoU for PNG Connections

Indraprastha Gas Limited (IGL) and Bharat Sanchar Nigam Limited (BSNL) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to provide Domestic Piped Natural Gas (PNG) connections to BSNL staff quarters in Karnal, Haryana.

The agreement will enable PNG connections for BSNL employees and their families living in the staff quarters. It will also support the development of PNG infrastructure in the region.

The initiative will expand access to piped natural gas and provide a convenient and reliable energy supply for residential use.

PNG Connections to Support Energy Access

The new PNG connections are aimed at improving everyday convenience for residents of the BSNL staff quarters.

Domestic PNG provides a continuous piped gas supply for household cooking needs. The initiative will therefore strengthen access to piped natural gas for BSNL employees and their families in Karnal.

The MoU also reflects cooperation between IGL and BSNL to facilitate PNG connectivity in residential premises.

PNG Infrastructure Expansion in Karnal

The initiative will contribute to the expansion of PNG infrastructure in Karnal. It will enable more BSNL staff quarters to access piped natural gas through the new connectivity arrangement.

For IGL, the initiative supports the expansion of its domestic PNG network. For BSNL, it provides an organised framework for bringing PNG services to its staff residential premises.

The MoU is expected to improve energy access and provide greater convenience to residents of the staff quarters.
