The Government of Odisha secured eight major Odisha investment proposals valued at Rs 8,417 crore on the second day of its UAE investor outreach program. Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi overseen the signing of five formal Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) in Dubai, unlocking significant foreign capital for the state.

The proposed projects will generate an estimated 14,310 jobs across manufacturing, industrial, and technology sectors once fully implemented. State officials confirmed that these multi-sectoral ventures will boost regional infrastructure while scaling export-oriented capacity.

Chief Minister Majhi met with Abdulla Bin Touq Al Marri, UAE Minister of Economy and Tourism and Chairman of the Council of International Investments. The discussions focused on reinforcing bilateral economic ties, showcasing Odisha’s industrial parks, and securing long-term capital deployments.
This success follows a massive MoU signed earlier in the week with IHC and the Adani Group, which outlined 14 potential projects worth approximately Rs 2.10 lakh crore.
