On April 5, 2026, Brahmaputra Valley Fertiliser Corporation Limited (BVFCL) commemorated its 25th Foundation Day, a significant milestone in the company’s commitment, expansion, and national service.
Sincere tributes were paid at the silver jubilee celebration to the organization’s path of enhancing farmers’ empowerment and fortifying India’s agricultural foundation. A solemn floral tribute was paid to the late Mohini Phukan, the visionary bureaucrat whose dogged efforts laid the groundwork for industrial transformation in the remote region of Namrup, by Sri Mohan Raj Shetty, HCMD (Head of the Central Marketing Department), and BVFCL employees to begin the occasion.
Because of Mohini Phukan’s vision and hard work, the once-remote Namrup region was able to advance industrially. Those who envisioned industrial progress for Northeast India left a heritage that BVFCL will continue, helping farmers and contributing to national development.
