Modi emphasized collaboration between Jordan’s digital payment system and India’s UPI and noted Jordan’s importance as a fertilizer supplier. The leaders discussed strengthening ties in various sectors including trade, defense, renewable energy, and culture, and finalized MoUs to enhance cooperation.
Modi appreciated King Abdullah’s commitment against terrorism and invited him to visit India, which Abdullah accepted. This meeting is significant as the countries celebrate 75 years of diplomatic relations.
