Prime Minister Narendra Modi opened the India AI Impact Expo 2026, which showcased India’s AI capabilities as a force for positive change on an international scale.
The event highlighted a dedication to developing AI in an ethical and inclusive manner while showcasing the impressive skills of Indian professionals. The gathering of world leaders, including heads of state and ministers, sought to investigate how artificial intelligence (AI) can advance equitable and sustainable development.
The conference showcased three flagship Global Impact Challenges—AI for ALL, AI by HER, and YUVAi—that focused on scalable AI solutions that were in line with national agendas. It also provided actionable development outcomes through the IndiaAI Mission.
