In order to improve the mobility of skills around the world and provide organised possibilities for Indian workers to work abroad, the GATI Foundation and the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) have inked an MoU. The Secretary of MSDE, Debashree Mukherjee, stressed that in order for India’s demographic dividend to materialise into a worldwide economic advantage, the workforce must possess skills that are acknowledged on a global scale.
This partnership is in line with the goals of #ViksitBharat2047, which stress the importance of educated workers as a springboard for national and international prosperity, creativity, inclusion, and collaboration. In addition to raising India’s labour standards internationally, expanded SIICs and global youth pathways will supposedly expose young professionals to opportunities abroad. The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE) spearheads programs that benefit the Skill India Mission, which aims to train people to be employable in both the local and global labour markets. GATI is an NGO that supports programs that are in line with India’s strategic workforce goals and whose mission is to promote international worker mobility, training excellence, and global skill development.
