Ankit IRS Appointment Under Central Staffing Scheme
The Department of Revenue recommended Ankit for central deputation. Following his appointment, he has been directed to be relieved of his present duties immediately to enable him to take up his new assignment in the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways.
The appointment places the 2016-batch IRS officer in a Deputy Secretary-level role within the ministry, which is responsible for matters relating to ports, shipping and waterways.
The tenure will be governed by the terms specified in the DoPT order, with the appointment continuing for four years from the date of assuming charge unless further orders are issued earlier.
