Maruti Suzuki India has achieved a significant milestone by surpassing 3 crore cumulative car sales in the domestic market.
It took the company 28 years to reach its first crore sales, while the next crore was sold in just over 7 years, and the third in about 6 years, reflecting its growing popularity.
The Maruti Alto tops the list as the best-selling model, followed by the Wagon R and Swift. Hisashi Takeuchi, Managing Director and CEO, expressed gratitude for customer trust and noted the potential for growth in car ownership in India.
