Leadership Move: Bank of India Revamps Top IT Management

Two high-ranking executives at the Bank of India have had their assignments switched. This development was reported by the bank to the National Stock Exchange and BSE on April 7, 2026.

Important positions in the bank’s IT department are being reorganised in the main office. According to the disclosure, both modifications take effect right away.

In a surprising move, Satyendra Singh is now the chief information officer (CIO) instead of the chief technology officer (CTO). The data strategy and information systems of the bank will now be under his supervision.

The next Chief Technology Officer will be Ashutosh Mishra, who was previously the General Manager of CFTO and Data Analytics. He will not only serve as CTO, but also as GM – IT.

According to the SEBI Listing Obligations and Disclosure Requirements Regulations, 2015, (Regulation 30), the financial institution disclosed the information. These documents were sent to the two stock markets where Bank of India is traded. The bank’s technology leadership has repositioned itself strategically, which is reflected in these adjustments. Each nominee has substantial background in data analytics and banking technologies.

Mumbai is home to the public sector bank known as Bank of India.
