On Tuesday, the NCL headquarters in Singrauli had a high-level review meeting. Shri Chaudhary Shivraj Singh, the Chairman and Managing Director of CMPDIL, presided over the meeting.
Attendees at the meeting included NCL Director (Technical) Shri Asutosh Dwivedi, as well as representatives from the Regional Institute-VI of CMPDIL and various department heads from NCL headquarters. Geomatics, exploration, and mining planning were some of the important topics covered. In addition, the group went over NCL’s forthcoming coal production strategies. Team NCL’s impressive achievement in the fiscal year 2025–26 was acknowledged by Chaudhary Shivraj Singh. He reaffirmed CMPDIL’s commitment to assisting NCL in meeting its future production goals.
In the coal ministry, CMPDIL serves as the primary institution for mine planning and design. Coal India Limited’s Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh-based subsidiary NCL (Northern Coalfields Limited) produces a substantial amount of coal.
