CNH India Rolls Out 800,000th Tractor from Greater Noida Facility

CNH India, a global leader in agriculture and construction equipment, has achieved a landmark manufacturing milestone with the rollout of its 800,000th tractor from the company’s Greater Noida manufacturing facility. The achievement reflects CNH’s strong commitment to India’s agricultural growth and the increasing trust of farmers in the company’s technologically advanced and reliable products.

The Greater Noida facility, operational since 1999, manufactures tractors under the New Holland and Case IH brands for domestic and export markets. The plant recently crossed a significant milestone of 800,000 tractors produced since inception. Notably, the last 100,000 units were rolled out in record time with the 700,000th tractor produced in 2024. Over the years, the plant has strengthened its manufacturing capabilities and today has an annual production capacity of approximately 60,000 tractors, which is being further ramped up to 70,000, producing a wide range of models for diverse farming needs in India and global markets.

“As a key pillar in CNH’s global manufacturing network, our Noida plant continues to deliver world-class, technology-driven solutions, backed by the trust of our customers and our commitment to the future of farming. Rolling out our 800,000th tractor from the Greater Noida facility is a significant milestone that reflects the strength and agility of our manufacturing operations, especially achieved in the shortest time till date – a reflection of our growing volumes in domestic and export markets”, said Ravi Kundra, Director Manufacturing Agriculture, CNH India.

Spread across 60 acres, the Greater Noida facility is one of CNH’s key manufacturing hubs globally and manufactures tractors, engines, transmissions, Power Take-Offs (PTOs) and axles for domestic and export markets. The plant produces over 3000 tractor variants across the New Holland and Case IH brands and employs more than 4000 people in India. Products manufactured at the facility are exported to over 90 countries across regions including across Asia, Africa, the Middle East, Australia and North America. Equipped with advanced manufacturing technologies, automation systems and stringent quality processes, the plant also reflects CNH’s focus on sustainable manufacturing through initiatives such as rooftop solar power generation water conservation measures and afforestation programmes based on the Miyawaki plantation methodology.

With its strong growth trajectory, CNH India has emerged as a global hub for the design, manufacturing, and export of small tractors. New Holland continues to be the company’s fastest-growing brand, driven by its exceptional performance in the Indian market. Building on this momentum, the company has announced plans to set up a new tractor manufacturing facility to meet the local and global demand for “Made in India” equipment.

CNH India operates in the country through its Case IH, New Holland, and CASE Construction Equipment brands, delivering for over 25 years on its promise to provide world-class products from its ‘Made in India’ operations. The company also has its financing arm, CNH Capital India, to offer financing solutions across its portfolio.
