‘Cent Parakram’ Launched: Central Bank of India Signs MoU with Madhya Pradesh Police

Police officers in Madhya Pradesh will have access to specialised salary accounts through the “Cent Parakram” Salary Account Scheme, made possible by a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the Central Bank of India and the state.

Zonal Head (Bhopal) of the Central Bank of India, Dheeraj Goel, and Assistant Inspector General of Police (Welfare), Imreen Shah, executed the agreement in the presence of Special Director General of Police (Welfare), Anil Kumar. The goal of the collaboration is to provide the police force of Madhya Pradesh with individualised banking services and other financial advantages. The Cent Parakram programme provides police officers with better benefits, including a pay account with more features, access to specialist banking services, and insurance policies designed specifically for their vocation.

The effort is anticipated to enhance financial inclusion and allow the police easier access to banking, according to officials.

This engagement is an example of the Central Bank of India’s continued commitment to fostering relationships with public sector organisations and offering tailored financial services to those who work in public service.

The Cent Parakram plan is an effort by the bank to increase its public sector salary account portfolio while simultaneously helping police officers financially.
