Adani to Pump ₹63,000 Cr into Assam Energy Projects; Thousands of Jobs to Be Created

Adani Group has announced a Rs 63,000 crore investment in Assam for two energy projects following approval from the state government.

Adani Power plans to invest Rs 48,000 crore to build a 3,200 MW ultra supercritical power plant, while Adani Green Energy will invest Rs 15,000 crore for two Pumped Storage Plants (PSP) with a capacity of 2,700 MW.

These projects are expected to create approximately 20,000 to 25,000 jobs during construction and sustain around 3,500 jobs during operations. Gautam Adani emphasized the significance of these investments for energy security and development in Northeastern India.
