ACME Solar Adds 4 MW Wind Power in Gujarat, Expands Clean Energy Footprint

In a regulatory filing, ACME Solar Holdings Limited said that its 100 MW wind energy project in Gujarat has been upgraded with an extra 4 MW of commissioned capacity, bringing the total commissioned capacity to 76 MW.

At Titoda village in Sayla taluka of Surendranagar district, Gujarat, ACME Eco Clean Energy Private Limited—a wholly owned subsidiary of ACME Solar Holdings—is developing the project. Both the Paschim Gujarat Vij Company Limited (PGVCL) and the Gujarat Energy Development Agency (GEDA) have confirmed the commissioning, and the official certificate of commissioning is anticipated soon.

Consistent progress toward complete commissioning of the 100 MW wind power plant has been documented in a series of updates issued by the company from October 2025, culminating in the latest milestone. This project is an integral aspect of ACME Solar’s plan to increase its use of renewable energy sources; it will add to the company’s solar portfolio and help India achieve its decarbonisation and clean energy targets.

As soon as it’s up and running, the wind project will help Gujarat, a major centre for renewable energy in India, generate more power on a larger scale for the grid.

The stock ticker symbol for ACME Solar Holdings on both the BSE and the NSE is ACMESOLAR.
