Major Bureaucratic Shake-Up: 33 IAS & DANICS Officers Reshuffled

As part of a bureaucratic shakeup, the Delhi government posted and transferred 33 IAS and Danics officers on Thursday. Financial commissioner G Narendra Kumar is an AGMUT cadre IAS officer from the 1989 batch. The government of Delhi has designated Prashant Goyal, an IAS officer from the 1993 batch, as the additional chief secretary of the food and civil supplies department. Goyal will also be responsible for administrative reforms and the electricity departments, two important areas of concentration for the Delhi government.Sonika Singh, a member of the 2015 batch of Indian Administrative Service officers, was transferred and appointed commissioner of DDA after serving as special secretary-cum private secretary to LG.

2013–2014 IAS officer’s cohort The additional responsibility of special secretary industries has been bestowed upon Somya Saurabh, who is currently serving as DM North West.A considerable number of Danics officers were involved in the reorganisation. The position of additional commissioner GST has been filled by Navlendra Kumar Singh, an officer from the 2006 batch who was previously assigned to the position of additional director social welfare.The central prison has appointed Mangal Siani, an officer from the class of 2022, as superintendent. The appointment of Om Prakash Saini as deputy secretary of DSSSB was made by the 2025 batch.An official stated that the modifications were necessary due to the fact that numerous young Officers from the Danics were waiting to be assigned, and some positions were empty.
