Eighty participants in the four-month Skill Development Training Programme at Ranchi’s Central Institute of Petrochemicals Engineering and Technology (CIPET) were awarded certificates of completion by the Central Mine Planning & Design Institute (CMPDI), as part of its corporate social responsibility (CSR) initiative.
The program provided theoretical and practical training in modern industrial processes, such as Machine Operator – Plastics Processing (MO-PP) and Machine Operator – Injection Moulding (MO-IM), with the goal of boosting employability and technical abilities in the plastics processing sector.
Having finished the programme, the trainees are ready to find work in the plastics industry all around India, where they may help further the government’s Atmanirbhar Bharat goal of fostering individual initiative and skill development.
At a ceremony attended by Shri Avneet Kumar Joshi, Director and Head of CIPET, and senior officials from CMPDI and CIPET, Dr. Shishir Dutta, General Manager (HRD/CSR) of CMPDI, distributed the certificates. By launching this program, CMPDI is demonstrating its dedication to enhancing the plastics industry’s workforce in India and providing young people with the skills they need to succeed in the job market.
