One of Coal India Limited’s wholly owned subsidiaries, Northern Coalfields Limited (NCL), has reiterated its CSR efforts to improve Singrauli’s healthcare infrastructure.
An MoU was signed on Tuesday between the Chief Medical and Health Officer of Singrauli and the General Manager (CSR) of NCL, with the participation of Gaurav Bansal, the District Collector of Singrauli. The goal of the agreement is to supply the District Hospital-cum-Trauma Center in Baidhan with state-of-the-art medical equipment. The Sidhi-Singrauli MP, Rajesh Mishra, suggested the CSR project, and the district government passed it on to NCL. The district hospital and trauma centre will receive cutting-edge medical equipment from NCL as part of this project.
The district’s healthcare infrastructure is anticipated to undergo a remarkable transformation with the incorporation of this cutting-edge equipment, allowing for enhanced treatment of critically ill patients. During his remarks, Collector Gaurav Bansal lauded NCL’s work to improve healthcare in the area. He said the programme will help make healthcare in the district better and more accessible for everyone. At the same time, Northern Coalfields Limited’s General Manager (CSR), Rajeev Ranjan, reaffirmed the company’s dedication to supporting social development in the region through its CSR initiatives.
