GRSE Celebrates Women’s Empowerment with ‘Vanita – A Day-Out Programme’

In observance of International Women’s Day on March 10, 2026, Garden Reach Shipbuilders & Engineers Ltd (GRSE) held “Vanita – A Day-Out Programme” to demonstrate its dedication to empowering women.

The event showcased GRSE’s efforts to foster an inclusive and progressive workplace by bringing together the organisation’s female employees for a day focused on engagement, friendship, and celebration. Participating in the programme in Kolkata was a blast because it included a tonne of fun group activities and exciting cultural performances that brought people together.

Creating a space where female employees could network outside of work, share in each other’s successes, and forge stronger professional ties was the goal of the programme. Honorary Chief Guest PR Hari, Chairman and Managing Director of GRSE, was in attendance at the function. A culture that promotes diversity, equal opportunity, and women’s professional growth is fostered by GRSE’s continual efforts, as shown by the “Vanita” initiative.

The organisation is committed to creating a supportive atmosphere where women may reach their full potential and make meaningful contributions to its success. It does this by promoting participation, offering leadership opportunities, and fostering collective growth. In honour of International Women’s Day, GRSE would like to take this opportunity to thank the women who have worked tirelessly to strengthen the company’s foundation, improve its operations, and ensure its continued success.

Vanita is just one example of how GRSE is working to advance gender equality and foster a more welcoming business environment.
