Attended by Bolivia’s Vice President Capitan Edman Lara, the AI Impact Summit 2026 was held in New Delhi on February 17. Union Minister Satish Chandra Dubey welcomed Lara, who signifies a fresh beginning in the bilateral relationship between India and Bolivia.
With the help of more than 100 government representatives and important stakeholders, the summit convenes 500 world leaders to deliberate on the role of artificial intelligence in sustainable development. Three Global Impact Challenges will be launched on February 19 by Prime Minister Modi to encourage ethical AI development.
Additionally, on February 18, there will be a Research Symposium on AI with submissions from all around the globe and a large number of presentations by world leaders.
