GAIL Delivers Strong Show: Net Profit Hits ₹5,706 Cr in FY26 Nine-Month Period

A small rise from ₹ 1,01,580 crores in the previous fiscal year, GAIL (India) Ltd reported a revenue from operations of ₹ 1,03,899 crores for the nine months ended December 2025.

Nevertheless, due to unusual revenue from an arbitration settlement in FY 2024-25, Profit before Tax (PBT) dropped to 7,387 crores from 12,123 crores and Profit after Tax (PAT) to 5,706 crores from 9,263 crores.

The revenue from operations for the third quarter of fiscal year 26 was ₹34,076 crores, a decrease from ₹35,031 crores in the second quarter. Profit before tax also fell, from ₹2,823 crores to ₹2,030 crores, while profit after tax fell, from ₹2,217 crores to ₹1,603 crores.

Gas marketing and sales of LHC and polymer fell, while transmission volumes of natural gas rose little. Operating revenue was 106,389 crores, profit before tax was 7,759 crores, and profit after tax was 6,098 crores, all calculated on a consolidated basis.

GAIL increased its operational network to more than 18,000 km with the commissioning of 1,182 km of the Mumbai-Nagpur-Jharsuguda Pipeline, and for fiscal year 2025–26, the company announced an interim dividend of ₹ 5 per share.
