Railways Operates Seven Special Trains Linking Tamil Nadu and Banaras for Kashi Tamil Sangamam 4.0

Indian Railways is operating seven special trains between Kanniyakumari, Chennai, Coimbatore, and Banaras for the Kashi Tamil Sangamam 4.0, enhancing cultural ties between Tamil Nadu and Kashi.

The services commenced on 29 November 2025, with scheduled departures from various cities up to 12 December, ensuring comfortable long-distance travel for participants. Return services are planned to begin on 5 December through 17 December 2025.

The event aims to promote linguistic and cultural exchange with the theme “Let Us Learn Tamil – Tamil Karkalam,” involving educational initiatives, tours, and the participation of multiple ministries and institutions. Indian Railways facilitates this significant cultural partnership, highlighting shared heritage.
