Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the Rs 1 lakh crore Research Development and Innovation (RDI) Scheme Fund today to enhance the private sector-driven research ecosystem in India.
The launch coincides with the Emerging Science and Technology Innovation Conclave (ESTIC) 2025, taking place from November 3-5 at Bharat Mandapam, with over 3,000 participants from academia, industry, and government.
The conclave will feature discussions on 11 thematic areas, such as Advanced Manufacturing, AI, and Health Technologies, aimed at fostering collaboration among researchers, industry leaders, and innovators.
