Oil India (OIL) and Mahanagar Gas Limited (MGL) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on October 6, 2025, to collaborate in exploring opportunities within the LNG value chain and other clean energy initiatives.
The agreement was endorsed by top executives from both companies. OIL aims to enhance gas production and promote clean energy projects, while MGL seeks to accelerate clean fuel adoption in long-haul transport.
The focus will be on assessing the viability of LNG in heavy-duty transport and facilitating greener logistics solutions.
