Revenue from operations rose 2.14% quarter-on-quarter to ₹49,244 crore from ₹48,277 crore in the previous quarter. On a year-on-year basis, revenue increased from ₹44,490 crore in Q2 FY26.
The company attributed business momentum partly to stronger demand from energy and utilities clients and increased enterprise spending on artificial intelligence (AI) services.
Infosys Cuts FY27 Revenue Growth Guidance
Infosys lowered its FY27 revenue growth forecast to 1%–2% in constant currency, compared with its previous guidance of 1.5%–3%. The company maintained its operating margin outlook at 20%–22%.
The revised forecast signals a more cautious revenue outlook despite year-on-year growth in the September quarter. Demand trends and the pace of technology spending will remain important factors for the company’s performance in the coming quarters.
AI Services and Large Deals Support Business Momentum
CEO and Managing Director Salil Parekh said Infosys secured large deals worth $5.2 billion during the quarter. This included a mega deal valued at more than $2 billion.
Parekh also reported that AI-related revenue accounted for 10.5% and grew 29% quarter-on-quarter. The figures reflect increased client adoption of AI services and demand for AI-led business transformation.
Infosys Declares ₹26 Interim Dividend
Infosys declared an interim dividend of ₹26 per share. According to the supplied announcement, November 3, 2026, is the record date, while November 11, 2026, is the payout date.
The company’s employee headcount stood at 332,542 as of September 30, 2026, compared with 328,062 in the previous quarter. Last-twelve-month voluntary attrition declined to 12.7%, from 13% in Q1 FY27 and 14.3% a year earlier. Women accounted for 39.8% of the workforce.
The Infosys Q2 results reflect higher profit and revenue, alongside continued momentum in AI services and large deal wins. However, the reduction in FY27 revenue growth guidance points to a more measured outlook. Investors will monitor deal conversion, AI revenue growth, operating margins and client spending trends in the coming quarters.
