NTPC Naveen Jain Gets Additional Charge of ED (DRC)

NTPC Naveen Jain has been assigned the additional charge of Executive Director (DRC), Corporate Centre (CC), at NTPC Limited. He will continue in his existing role as Chief Executive Officer (UPL) while handling the additional responsibilities until further orders.

NTPC Limited has assigned the additional responsibilities of Executive Director (DRC), CC, to Naveen Jain, Chief Executive Officer (UPL).

The decision was approved by the competent authority, according to an office order issued by NTPC’s Corporate HR department on September 30, 2026.

NTPC Naveen Jain Gets Additional Executive Responsibility

Under the order, Naveen Jain will handle the responsibilities of Executive Director (DRC), CC, in addition to his existing role as CEO (UPL).

The additional charge will remain effective until further orders. Jain will continue to be associated with his current responsibilities as CEO (UPL).

NTPC Office Order Issued on September 30

The additional charge was communicated through NTPC office order number 0974/26-27, issued on September 30, 2026.

The order was signed by C. Kumar, Executive Director (HR), NTPC Limited.

The order has been circulated to the concerned officials and departments within NTPC for information and necessary action.

Naveen Jain to Continue as CEO (UPL)

While taking on the additional responsibilities of ED (DRC), Naveen Jain will continue in his existing position as CEO (UPL).

The arrangement will remain in place until further orders from the competent authority.
