The company inducted its first batch of 10 candidates on Thursday and has shortlisted another 46 for recruitment.
AISATS Jobs for Armed Forces Dependents Begin at Delhi Airport
The first batch of 10 candidates will join AISATS at Delhi airport. They will work across key airport operations.
Their roles will include customer service executives, load control agents, cargo service agents and ramp agents.
AISATS is recruiting the candidates through its partnership with the Indian Army and Army Welfare Placement Office (AWPO).
Air India SATS Airport Services Pvt Ltd is a joint venture between Air India and Singapore-based SATS.
AISATS Plans More Recruitment
AISATS Chief Human Resources Officer Namit Baikar said the company has shortlisted 46 additional candidates through the partnership.
The company also plans to explore more employment opportunities for Veer Naris, widows and dependents of deceased armed forces personnel.
Baikar said the initiative aims to create opportunities for financial independence, professional growth and long-term employment for families who have made significant sacrifices for the country.
AWPO Partnership Supports Employment
AWPO Managing Director and Retired Major General Ajay Singh Chauhan said creating employment opportunities for ex-servicemen, Veer Naris, widows and their dependents remains a key focus of the organisation.
The partnership with AISATS is aimed at connecting eligible candidates with employment opportunities in the airport services sector.
The initiative gives AISATS access to a pool of candidates while creating new career opportunities for armed forces families. The company’s plan to expand recruitment could further strengthen this employment programme.
