RailTel Secures ₹115 Crore Contract from Power Grid for Network Solutions

In a regulatory filing on March 11, 2026, RailTel Corporation of India Limited said that Power Grid Corporation of India Limited has placed a substantial order with the company, valued at ₹115.20 crore.

A Letter of Intent (LOI) for the provision of services under the project was received by the company from Power Grid Corporation, which it disclosed to the stock exchanges. The total amount of the order, including taxes, is projected to be 1,152,049,000. This contract is for domestic service work, according to the statement made under Regulation 30 of the SEBI (Listing Obligations and Statement Requirements) Regulations, 2015.

With a target completion date of September 10, 2034, the project is anticipated to be carried out over an extended period of time. The order was awarded by a domestic entity and does not constitute a related party transaction, according to RailTel. The corporation further made it clear that the promoters and their group had no financial stake in the winning bidder.

This disclosure was submitted in accordance with SEBI’s listing regulations and the latest master circular on corporate disclosures, as stated in the filing, and the work order was received on March 10, 2026, at 18:43 hours too.
