PM Modi Invites Israeli Companies to Expand Business in India

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi has extended an invitation to Israeli businesses to investigate potential investment, manufacturing, and technological collaboration opportunities in India while he is in Israel.

With Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu by his side, Prime Minister Modi paid a visit to an innovation exhibition that showcased developments in agri-tech, water-tech, climate-tech, health-biotech, smart mobility, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, and quantum technologies.

As part of the “India-Israel Innovation Bridge” initiative, the prime minister of India and Israel showcased cutting-edge innovations that have the potential to enhance collaboration between the two countries. He said that the showcased technologies could greatly expand joint endeavours in areas such as agriculture, water management, healthcare, digital services, and start-ups.

Prime Minister Modi met with CEOs, tech entrepreneurs, and scientists throughout the tour. Both Quantum Machines and Classiq informed him of their respective efforts to streamline the creation of quantum software and the Israeli Quantum Computing Centre, respectively.

Along with Mobileye’s innovative road safety solutions, Check Point Software Technologies’ advanced threat prevention offerings, and Israel Aerospace Industries’ miniaturised communication satellites and synthetic aperture radar systems, a number of other firms showcased their ground-breaking innovations.

The purpose of the visit was to highlight India’s desire to deepen its partnership with Israel in the realm of high technology and to work together on finding answers to global problems.
