It is still very important to work closely with the Tamil Nadu government. Mangat Ram Sharma, IAS, met with Prasanna Kumar Motupalli, CMD of NLC India Limited, at the Secretariat in Chennai. Sharma is the Additional Chief Secretary (ACS) of the Public Works Department (PWD) and the Energy Department of the Government of Tamil Nadu.
Accelerating energy and infrastructure initiatives, improving energy security, and efficiently executing current and future projects throughout the state were the main points of discussion at the meeting. Also present at the interaction were Dr Prasanna Kumar Acharya, Director (Finance) of NLC India Limited, and K. Anandaramanujam, CEO of NLC Tamil Nadu Power Limited (NTPL).
