Green Power Surge: KPI Green Energy Activates 965 MWp Capacity

With the addition of an extra 376 MWp, KPI Green Energy Limited (“KPI”) has reached a significant milestone in its Independent Power Producer (IPP) portfolio, which now stands at 965 MWp out of a planned 2.17 GWp. Several of the Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) in the portfolio are 25 years or more in duration, and they back a variety of renewable energy projects, including solar, wind, and hybrid ones. These advancements, which supplement KPI Green’s already-established EPC knowledge, fortify its asset-backed IPP model and improve the visibility of its long-term revenues.

The multi-faceted KP Group was established in 1994 by the late Dr. Faruk G. Patel. Its primary areas of expertise are renewable energy, infrastructure, and innovation. By implementing solar, wind, hybrid, battery storage, and green hydrogen projects, KPI Green Energy is leading India’s energy transformation and helping to reduce carbon emissions and promote sustainable growth.
