By the end of the year, Bharat1.AI, a Bengaluru-based AI infrastructure business, hopes to have established a “Humanity-First AI City” that would house more than 10,000 AI researchers and innovators.
Participating in this endeavour are prestigious educational institutions including IIT Kanpur and IISc, as well as the 5 lakh sq. ft. B1 AI Superpark campus located in Sarjapura.
In the first stage, we employ high-quality multimodal data to build large-scale models and work on universal fundamental intelligence frameworks. Organisations will be able to test AI systems in real urban situations as the project expands into an AI City testbed over the next 36 months.
Building trustworthy, verifiable intelligence that respects human values is the mission of the initiative, according to co-founder Umakant Soni. Attracting world-renowned figures and policymakers in the field of artificial intelligence, the announcement was timed to coincide with the India AI Impact Summit.
